The mummy bundles were found in the Great Paracas Necropolis, a city of the dead located on the south Pacific coast of the Andes. 

The Paracas people lived from around 800 BC to 400 AD in the Paracas Peninsula on the southern coast of Peru. 

They are known for their necropolis, which contains hundreds of mummy bundles wrapped in textiles.
